Since 1867, the Sacramento Children’s Home has been a beacon of hope for the Sacramento region’s most vulnerable children and families. With a rich history spanning over 150 years, their agency pioneers high-quality care for at-risk youth, contributing to strong community families.
Committed to child abuse prevention, intervention, and mental health treatment, their diverse programs address the unique needs of over 7,000 children and 4,300 families annually. From crisis support for families with infants to short-term residential care for traumatized foster youth, we promote child safety, positive parenting, education, and mental health.
As industry pioneers, the Sacramento Children’s Home continually innovates to address evolving needs. Their program, The Source, provides 24/7 support to resource families and former foster youth during crises.
