Welcome to the first week of the last month of the current decade! Are you ready for the ’20s? If you’re a startup founder, there are two programs starting in the first quarter of the new decade that can prepare you for the challenges ahead, including raising investment capital.

Cowo Campus is seeking new entrepreneurs, startups, small businesses, and creatives to join their new accelerator program, powered by the SBDC Norcal Finance Center. They are accepting applications for the March 2020 cohort, where a select group of entrepreneurs will take part in a 10-week intensive series of startup bootscamps and mentoring sessions. At the end of the program, candidates will present at a Demo Day where investment funding will be awarded to three winners: $10,000 for 1st place, $7,500 for 2nd place, and $2,500 for 3rd place. Apply/Learn More Here

The Sacramento Entrepreneurship Academy is accepting applications through early-December for the SEA 2020 cohort. Classes begin in early-January and conclude in mid-May. Apply/Learn More Here

Are you ready to present your business in front of an audience? 1 Million Cups has an opening this Wednesday, Dec 4 between 9-10 am. Your presentation on your business is 6 minutes long, followed by 15 minutes of Q&A and Feedback from a friendly audience of about two dozen of your peers and mentors. Apply here if you’re interested.
