Hello Placer County! 1 Million Cups is taking a roadtrip to Rocklin on Wednesday morning! Hosted by HaneyBiz, two local early stage startups will present between 9-10 am.. And did I forget to mention coffee? BYOPS**
InnoGrove in Elk Grove has a workshop Wednesday evening on Patents, Trademarks and Copyrights. This free event will bring you up to speed on what every Startup needs to know about intellectual property protection.
Looking for funding? The SBA & SBDC have two separate opportunities on Thursday morning for you to learn about how they can help with financing. Financing ABC’s and Financing with the Small Business Administration. Both are in Sacramento.

UC Davis’ Big Bang! Competition for 2017/18 kicks off on October 24! It wasn’t widely known last year, but they’ve changed the rules and ANYONE can apply to participate–not just those connected with the University. Attend the Kickoff to find out more about this annual competition and the prize money available!
Application Deadlines
Hacker Lab’s Startup Hustle Entrepreneurship Bootcamp is now accepting applications for their Fall Cohort. The Application Deadline is Oct. 2. There are two opportunities this week to learn more in person: first, at a free Startup Ideation Workshop at Hacker Lab Rocklin Wednesday evening, and second, a free Startup Hustle Office Hours session at Hacker Lab midtown on Thursday from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm.
