What happens when founders, small business owners, technologists, students, makers, investors, and creatives come together across an entire region? From October 19 through October 24, Sac Tech Week 2026 will bring Sacramento’s technology and innovation community together for six days of events, learning, and connection.

Presented by the Sac Tech Consortium, the week will feature more than 30 events and experiences across Sacramento and the surrounding region. Instead of taking place at one convention center, events will happen at venues throughout the region, giving attendees multiple ways to participate.

More Than a Traditional Tech Conference

Sac Tech Week is a distributed, citywide experience with events at innovation hubs, coworking spaces, businesses, and community organizations. Participating locations include Urban Hive, the Carlsen Center at Sac State, Made Studios, Atrium, Roseville Venture Lab, and Granite City Coworking.

Programming includes workshops, panels, startup showcases, pitch competitions, networking events, AI programs, and interactive experiences. Whether you are launching a company, growing a business, or exploring new technology, you can find events that match your interests.

A Week for Founders and Entrepreneurs

Sac Tech Week brings startups and small businesses together with technology companies, universities, government, innovation organizations, makers, investors, and community groups. For founders and entrepreneurs, it is an opportunity to meet people outside of your usual network and learn about resources available throughout the region.

Participating organizations include StartupSac, Startup Folsom, Growth Factory, Carlsen Center, NorCal SBDC, CA Capital, AI Collective, and Common Knowledge. Industry partners include BOSCH, SMUD, Comcast, Verizon, AWS, and AZRA Games.

Explore More Than 30 Experiences

Several major events will anchor the week. Sac Tech Week begins Monday, October 19 with the State of Innovation Kickoff Breakfast, followed by the Startup World Cup on Tuesday, October 20. On Wednesday, AI for Small Business will focus on helping small business owners understand and apply emerging AI technologies.

Throughout the rest of the week, attendees can explore workshops, startup presentations, sustainability programs, AI meetups, open houses, technology gatherings, and pitch competitions. Sac Tech Week concludes Saturday, October 24 with the Tandem Summit.

Find the Events That Fit Your Goals

You do not have to attend everything to get value from Sac Tech Week. If you are building a startup, look for opportunities to meet founders, investors, mentors, and support organizations. Small business owners can explore programs focused on AI and business tools, while makers and innovators can connect with technical talent and other builders.

With more than 30 experiences planned, you can choose the events that make the most sense for your goals, whether you want to learn a new skill, make connections, explore new technology, or see what others are building.

Be Part of Sac Tech Week 2026

Sacramento already has founders, technology companies, universities, makers, innovation hubs, and organizations building across the region. Sac Tech Week brings those communities together and creates more opportunities for people to connect, learn, and participate.
