One of the complaints I often hear about the Sacramento startup and tech scene is that we don’t have enough big tech conferences. The team at Impact Venture Capital is one group working to change that situation with their flagship event the Impact Global Venture Summit  held at the Golden 1 Center.

In its second year, the Impact Global Venture Summit is a day of exhibition focused on the innovation and regulation of emerging tech. Attendees will gain insights on the potential impact of foundation technologies, hands-on demonstrations of early applications, and access to the real innovators and policymakers shaping their adoption in our markets and communities.

Impact Venture Capital will host hundreds of investors, entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and
policymakers for this all-day event. The Kauffman Fellows, Entrepreneurs Organization, and
Women’s Startup Competition Europe will act as industry partners.

The Summit’s open-floor format is purposefully designed to promote engagement and
interaction, allowing participants to attend programs most relevant to them.  The Summit will
feature scores of exhibiting startups, live radio and television interviews, and rapid startup pitch
sessions.

Jeff Harbach, CEO of the Kauffman Fellows said, “By bringing world class investors, market
innovators, and policy makers together, the Impact Global Venture Summit is setting the stage
for technology to serve venture ecosystems in the US and beyond. We’re thrilled to support the
team at Impact Venture Capital.”

General Partner of Impact Venture Capital Jack Crawford said, “This Summit will kick start
amazing opportunities to solve global challenges for the next decade with innovations happening
today.”

Last year’s Summit included over 700 investors, corporate innovators, and entrepreneurs — and
some are forecasting the event will double its number of attendees this year.
