Update on Startup Weekend
This past weekend, 7 teams competed in Startup Weekend Rocklin. It was an amazing time and while there were only 3 official winners, everyone was a winner in their pursuit to understand the process of launching a startup! First place went to Circ8, which developed a study lamp that uses blue light to stimulate students to be more productive. Led by a high school Junior, this team created a working prototype controlled by an app! Second Place went to SlingShot, an online math tutor and Third Place went to PodWave, a platform for podcasts that uses social features to recommend content to users. What does it feel like to participate in a Startup Weekend? Check out this video to find out!
