About Our Speaker: Martin Ruebelt
Martin Ruebelt, Ph.D is an accomplished scientific leader and product development expert with more than two decades of experience in the agricultural industry. Martin is currently the Chief Scientific Officer and Vice President of Research and Development at NatureSweet, the largest vertically-integrated controlled environment agricultural company in North America.
Martin’s distinguished career spans previous roles at global companies such as Bayer Crop Science, where he was Head of Global Consumer R&D for Vegetables. Dr. Ruebelt’s exceptional contributions were acknowledged by his recognition as a Bayer and Monsanto Science Fellow, a testament to the instrumental role he played in R&D, launching products at both Bayer and Monsanto. Dr. Ruebelt is also a member of the Food Science and Technology Leadership Board at the University of California, Davis.
Through these roles, Martin has developed a unique perspective on the role science and technology play in delivering nutritious and delicious food to consumers, and building a successful consumer brand in what is frequently considered a commodity agricultural business. Martin will share these insights with our audience September 5th.
