Join us for Startup Happy Hour powered by StartupSac and the Carlsen Center with Camille Richman, co-founder of Hamama.

StartupSac and the Carlsen Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Sac State are honoring Women’s History Month in March, welcoming another successful startup founder, Camille Richman, co-founder of Hamama.

Camille is the co-founder of Hamama, a West Sacramento startup that makes growing superfood greens fun. They’ve invented a fail-proof way for anyone, anywhere to grow nutritious microgreens at home year-round.

A graduate of the MIT Media lab with an engineering background, Camille and her co-founder launched Hamama after several years of growing food in the lab and at home and experiencing the benefits. It occurred to them, “What if people had a system to grow healthy food for them at home?” and Hamama was born. Launched in 2016, Hamama raised a $2 million investment round in 2020.

GIVEAWAY! One lucky attendee will receive a Hamama Microgreens Starter Kit valued at $49!
