- Expanded Eligibility: This year, for the first time, Pitch Elk Grove welcomes entrepreneurs from Nevada County. It also continues to include El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Sutter, Yolo, and Yuba counties, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship across a broad eight county region.

Ideal Candidates
The City of Elk Grove is looking for passionate and driven entrepreneurs who meet the following criteria:
- Tech Focus: Be an emerging or scaling tech company in a tech vertical commercializing innovative products and platforms.
- Prototype/MVP: Have a working prototype or Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
- Revenue Generation: Be generating revenue or close to it.
- Location: Be located in one of these eight regional counties: El Dorado, Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Sutter, Yolo, Yuba.
- For-Profit: Be a for-profit venture (no non-profits).
- Event Attendance: Be able to attend the in-person event at Elk Grove on September 19, 2024.
- Pitch Deck: Submit a pitch deck as part of the application.
- Website: Have a Website URL for their company.
- Image Use: Provide permission to the City of Elk Grove and StartupSac to use their image.
