Global Startup Weekend Women Sacramento was this past weekend and First Place Team IndiePub Co is going to Paris! This brand new startup (from idea to business in just 54-hours) is co-op network for indie authors that offers high quality books at low cost. As the winner of our Startup Weekend, they will join over 20 other Startup Weekend Women winners from around the globe! Second Place was A.R.D.A.S — curated travel resource to help people plan their best trip. Third Place was Travelerpad –temporary furnished housing for professionals. Peoples choice was PuppyGrams — a puppy delivery service for entertainment. Who doesn’t love puppies?! And an honorable mention was given to Spark!Mogul — a program to teach entrepreneurship in K-12.
