After a two week hiatus for the holiday season, 1 Million Cups Sacramento returned yesterday for its 2017 debut. The event took place at Hacker Lab as the normal venue at 801 K Street is going through some renovations. Despite the gray, soggy conditions there was a very good turnout to hear the two founders present; Vitaliy of Renter Inc. and Payam Fardanesh of Silk Road Soda.

Renter Inc.
Vitaliy kicked off the new year to explain how his startup lets landlords legally search and review their tenant’s rental history. It’s as easy as Yelping.

I was able to sit down with Vitaliy after the event was over and interview him so stay tuned for a one on one profile interview with Vitaliy in the coming days.
Silk Road Soda
The second presenter of the morning was Payam whose, artisan soda is a not-too-sweet, artisan beverage with a healthy endeavor. Silk Road is an effervescent take on Grandma’s legendary Persian recipe. The low-calorie refreshers are filled with pure, organic ingredients and offer a cultural experience with every sip. Enjoy naked or paired with your favorite foods and spirits. “Eastern inspired, Western desired.”
