Last week, I mentioned that a 1 Million Cups chapter is starting up in Sacramento in September. And some of you I emailed directly and encouraged you to apply to present your startup at a Wednesday morning gathering. I believe so strongly in the benefit of the 1 Million Cups program for our startup ecosystem I’m telling you about it again!
Here’s what I recommend you do:
1) Watch this short video to find out why other startup communities around the nation LOVE 1 Million Cups.
2) Visit the 1 Million Cups Sacramento page and click “follow” to join the community. That’s the only way the local chapter will know to invite you to the FREE launch on September 21.
3) If you have a startup in the 1-3 years old range (give or take) apply to be a presenter. The organizer team will work with you to find a Wednesday morning session that’s convenient for you to present if your application is approved.

Entrepreneur Chris Johnson, creator of the Rapid Ramin Cooker (and featured in TWO Business Journal articles last week!) is one of the guests at the Indivizibile Speaker series at the The Guild Theater tonight. If you haven’t heard Chris speak before, you’re really in for a treat! Can I get an “Amen?”
InnoGrove is offering a FREE seminar on Startup Selling Tuesday night. Scott Sambucci of SalesQualia is the presenter. If you are serious about creating your sales engine for your startup, you really ought to come.
And I hate to drone on but… (your cue to groan at bad pun) the Dinner and Drones — AgTech Showcase Fundraiser is Saturday night. Drone races, a Kombucha Couture fashion show and of course a Sacramento-style Farm-to-Fork Dinner! I’m going and I think you should too! If I haven’t sold it to you quite yet, did I mention it’s all happening at Windmill Vineyards in Woodland?
