We want to have fun making great games and help others break into the game industry.
We have set a course for mobile and web development and are in the process of acquiring talent to aid in making our vision come alive.
Limitless creative freedom fueled by raw technical expertise drives us. We are still new, continuously learning at an incredible rate, but pursuing full mastery is a journey without end. We will always search for ways to improve our craft, questioning traditional methods and ideas in order to meet this new world’s unparalleled evolution head-on. We hunt for new ways of thinking; anything to challenge the status quo. Technically, we continuously experiment with new tools to help us develop better, faster, and stronger.
We dedicate these efforts to our players. We do this by tapping into our players’ curiosity by creating entire immersive worlds full of mystery, to explore and conquer.
In the end, we owe everything to our players. They make it all possible. Thank you. As such, we work for them, valuing affordability. We aim to allow everyone to lose themselves in an Arclit world.
Skirmish Entertainment has always been committed to hard work and creativity. We strive to bring an exciting and memorable gaming experience to our audience. Our goal is to make the best game possible for as many people around the world as possible. Here at Skirmish Entertainment we forge and sharpen each other’s skills, working hard together to bring our creativity to the market. Honest feedback helps to strengthen our products and increase their quality so that players can enjoy only the best that we have to offer. We would rather be remembered for a great game than a subpar one any day of the week.
Started in 2015, we host weekly meetings for students, professors, local developers, and hobbyists to get together and talk about game development. Weekly meetings include workshops, games, presentations, or just hanging out. Every few months we host 12 hour Game Jams open to everyone. Every year we participate in GDC, Picnic Day, and IndieArcade Sacramento. Professors and local companies sometimes hire students for developmental related jobs. If you like games - no matter if you're a programmer, artist, composer, marketer, game tester, designer, etc. we will always welcome you!

Studies have proven that Gamification and Serious Games increase performance in teams by tapping into our natural play instincts to leverage our need for both intrinsic and extrinsic motivators; and impact our social, cognitive, and emotional needs. What's the difference? Gamification blends game mechanics, such as leader boards and badges, to incentivize learning and habit building. Serious Games utilize a more traditional game environment, such as simulators or story-driven activities, and aligns them with learning objectives in a way that is entertaining, fun and interactive.
