I just got word that Hacker Lab has opened up applications for their Spring 2018 Startup Hustle Bootcamp! You can sign up for the Bootcamp Syllabus and more information here. The 9-week program kicks off the week of March 12 and Demo Night will be the week of May 7. If you’ve been kicking around a business idea and are ready to get serious about launching it, the Startup Hustle Bootcamp is for you! Sessions will be offered both in Midtown and Rocklin.

For those of you who want to test drive an idea before commiting to a 9-week bootcamp, Startup Weekend is a great place to start. There are two Startup Weekends happening in February. The Global Women’s Startup Weekend is Feb 9-11 in Downtown Sacramento and the Rocklin Startup Weekend is Feb 23-25. Use code “digest” for 35% off admission for either. The main difference between the two, other than location, is that the Women’s Edition will focus on ideas pitched by women. At the Rocklin event, anyone can pitch an idea.

Curious what your Startup Digest curators sound like? Jeff and I did a podcast last week to highlight some upcoming events as well as to share our Startup Wishlist for 2018. Take a listen!

There’s lots of great stuff going on in the tech startup community–check out the details in this week’s Startup Digest. If you’d like to receive the digest in your inbox every Monday morning, sign up for free here. If you’ve organized (or know about) an event we have not included, please submit it here for consideration. And for even more startup information, happenings and resources, visit the StartupSac Website.  Note: We include a lot of tech events that aren’t necessarily startup-focused on the event calendar on the StartupSac website. Check it out here.
