Recruiting fresh talent to your startup team can be difficult and take a lot of time–UC Davis is making it easier! The UC Davis Startup Fair returns for its second year connecting students with early-stage and fast growing companies from Sacramento, Silicon Valley and beyond. Startup companies can apply for a booth for the May 5th event using this form. Applications are due by April 21.

This Week’s Best Bets

1 Million Cups has featured presentations by nearly 50 startup founders since it launched in September. This Wednesday, there is a special shout out to female founders. Come check out this growing Sacramento founder community on 4/5 from 9-10am at the “Darth Vader Building.”

Game developers and game enthusiasts! Head to the Sacramento Indie Arcade in West Sac on Saturday! This family-friendly event will feature games created by local indie game studios. You can play all day! There will also be panel discussions and special guests of interest to the game dev community. Tickets are just $10
