Another big announcement this week: the Impact Global Venture Summit is debuting at the Golden 1 Center on November 14. If you consider yourself part of Sacramento’s startup ecosystem, you absolutely NEED to be at this event! It’s from 2-7 p.m. and if you get your tickets before Early Bird expires on Oct 21, you’ll pay just $15 to attend.

On Tuesday, Startup Grind is hosting Qasar Younis, the COO of Y Combinator, at The Urban Hive. Appetizers, live music and radically good face-to-face human interaction starts at 6 p.m. followed by a fireside chat with Younis. Don’t miss this one! Save $5 when you use promo code “digest.”

Freebie of the Week

Check out IoT Demo Night at Hacker Lab this evening. It’s free and there will be pizza! Those who created projects during the Intel Summer of IoT program will be doing live demos. The fun starts at 6 p.m. and this is a kid-friendly event. Oh, and did I mention free pizza?
