The Sacramento Kings, in collaboration with Velocity Venture Capital, are looking for the most promising startups in the Sacramento area to compete in the first Capitalize startup contest, which will be held on April 5th during the Tech Night game.
Startups within 75 miles of Sacramento can submit applications through March 9th. Thirty-two companies will be selected to compete in a series of pitch contests at the Semifinals, hosted at Velocity’s Sacramento Campus on 801 K St. A panel of judges at this event will select four to move on to the Capitalize finals.
The winning organization will receive a $5000 cash prize, as well as consultation sessions with Kings executives and lunch with a Kings owner.
Application deadline is March 9, 2016.
