Catch your breath! March has come in like a Lion from the standpoint of how many great startup events you have to choose from this week!

On Wednesday, TechEdge, the region’s annual luncheon celebrating technology success, is at the Hyatt Regency with keynote speaker Bill Reichert, managing director of Garage Technology Ventures. Founders from four Sacramento tech companies will also be on stage — Bitwater Farms, HomeZada, Sierra Energy and SureClinical. Local VC Jack Crawford (Velocity Venture Capital) will also speak and there will be a startup alley featuring local companies. I’m thrilled that the Sacramento Business Journal is continuing TechEdge. This will be the 8th year that I will attend this Sacramento tradition. Will I see you there?

If you attend TechEdge and want to have some time afterward to meet Bill Reichert and ask him some questions, he’s the guest at Startup Grind for a Fireside Chat at The Urban Hive from 6-8:30 pm on Wednesday. You’ll need a ticket for this event but if you buy your ticket today, you’ll save some bucks!

Are you civic-minded? Don’t miss the #Hack4Sac kickoff on Tuesday. This will be Sacramento County’s first-ever six-week civic innovation challenge! And there is $10,000 in prize money at stake! As part of the challenge, there is a hackathon is on Saturday at Hacker Lab.

Where will I be this week? InnoGrove’s Women in Tech panel on Tuesday, TechEdge and Startup Grind on Wednesday and the Launch Festival in San Francisco on Thursday and Friday. BUSY WEEK! See you around?
