There was another good turnout with over 30 people attending the special CleanTech edition of 1 Million Cups Sacramento yesterday morning to hear pitches from Tenkiv and V2Energy Solutions. Thomas Hall with CleanStart kicked off the morning sharing information on CleanStart’s Crowdrise crowdfunding campaign.
Arya Rashid presented for Tenkiv, a solar energy and thermal water desalination. Tenkiv has designed a fully integrated solar powered system that provides clean, renewable energy for minimal cost.
Following the Q&A session for Tenkiv, Brandie Leathers presented for V2 Energy Solutions, an energy storage startup. V2 Energy Solutions possess certain proprietary integrated power systems that make use of a “Modular” and systems approach to collect, store, distribute, and utilize electric energy.
I expect we’ll see some great things from both of these Sacramento-based clean technology startups.
