Sacramento entrepreneurs, do you have a startup or technology that is focused on innovative solutions to improve the lives of older adults around the world? The Aging2.0 Global Startup Search is returning and Sacramento has started a local chapter.

The Aging2.0 Global Startup Search is an annual program designed to search the world for the best aging-focused startups.  Through a series of local pitch events, online voting & judging, and finale showcase featuring the most elite startups, Aging2.0 will crown an entrepreneur with the grand prize: cash, mentorship, and an international spotlight.

The competition kicks off with a series of pitch events in chapter cities around the world – hundreds of startups apply to compete and local teams carefully select participants and judges for each event. After a successful event last June hosted by Eskaton, the event returns to Sacramento with prizes and a chance to win $2,500 & more.

How does it work? The winning startup from the local Sacramento pitch event will move forward to an online voting round, where the general public and panel of expert judges evaluate and contribute to the selection of finalists. The finale pitch event will take place during the Aging2.0 OPTIMIZE Conference in San Francisco November 14-15, 2017.

The Sacramento pitch event will take place in April and the deadline for application is March 1.
