Toasting-Idea-01In 2015 the Sacramento region was host to several events and programs geared to helping our region’s entrepreneurs launch their ideas. These ranged from Startup Weekends to more formal accelerator programs backed by VCs. Programs like these are a great way to help our local entrepreneurs launch their ideas. At this time of year it seems fitting to pay tribute to the local entrepreneurs who participated in these programs this year, sacrificing their time and resources in their entrepreneurial pursuits.

Velocity Ventures Accelerator

Velocity Venture Capital kicked off its 6th annual Entrepreneurs Showcase Fall Accelerator program,  a 10-week program that educates and mentors top startups and graduate students then connects them to other entrepreneurs, Fortune 500 corporations, policymakers and investors facilitating knowledge, experience, idea and resource sharing. They selected 13 tech startups for admission to the program. Well done teams! We look forward to hearing more about your ventures in the upcoming year.
